Thinking of starting a new group, or looking for advice in running one? All the information you need is here, and we're here to help.
Kennedy-Western Alumni Groups come in all shapes and sizes, from regional social gatherings to high-tech business networking
The strong network of Kennedy-Western University Groups caters to everyone who attended Kennedy-Western University. Many of these Groups hold regular events, meetings and activities, encouraging alumni to network, socialise and become supporters of the University.
There is no one size fits all approach to running an Alumni Group, however, to help ensure that volunteer-led Alumni Groups continue to offer valuable support to the Kennedy-Western University Alumni Association, and that the Development and Alumni Relations team provides the best possible services to Alumni Groups around the world
Starting a Alumni Group
In order to be recognised as an Alumni Group we require all Groups to adhere to the memorandum of understanding
The Kennedy-Western University Alumni Association will provide services such as publicising Groups on its website and in the Alumni Worldwide Directory, provide advice and support to both new and existing Groups from the Alumni Relations Office, and hold regular Alumni Group leadership training events.
In consideration of the Alumni Association disclosing the information, the Group agrees to provide contact details of at least one person to be publicised on the Development and Alumni Relationships website and in the Alumni Groups Directory and, if possible, a representative to attend Alumni Group leadership events.
If an Alumni Group is unable to provide the above, wilfully brings the Alumni Association into disrepute through its actions or is proved to not be upholding the Kennedy-Western University Alumni Association’s core values, then the Alumni Association will cease to provide the services outlined.
